Young people make up to 25% of the population in Europe but their voices are not equally heard. The COVID-19 outbreak has affected all social segments, especially the most vulnerable social groups. After such an unprecedented crisis, youth engagement is now key in supporting the recovery of the EU’s social fabric. At the same time, youth’s engagement has the power to encourage the shift towards a sustainable and more resilient future at the local level.
