Record numbers of innovations expected at EuroTier
The upcoming issue of EuroTier will showcase a record number of innovations. The German Agricultural Society, organiser of EuroTier, received more than 300 submissions to be awarded a EuroTier medal, which is a show record.
An independent, international jury committee will award five gold medals and 19 silver medals at the event. The only pig-related gold medal is for the German equipment company Hölscher + Leuschner, for its innovation OptiScan. This is a mobile weighing system for finishing pigs, using 3D camera technology.
EuroTier will be held 13-16 November in Hanover, Germany.
